The Black Care Experience Residential

Part funded by the Rayne Foundation, we're super excited to share that over 5 days and 4 nights, our first ever Residential will be taking place in August 2026. It's for Black Children and Young People in Care (Foster Care or Residential Children’s Home) who are age 10 - 16.

Please note: Black we define as a Child and Young Person whose Ethnic Origin is either African, Caribbean including Mixed Race with African or Caribbean Heritage.

There'll be fun filled activities and engaging workshops to:

  • build confidence

  • increase social skills

  • develop leadership abilities

  • strengthen teamwork skills

We'll be tackling real issues like exploitation, grooming, drug misuse and knife crime to build their knowledge on how to keep themselves safe.

We'll also have in-house Therapeutic Practitioners on hand to provide emotional support.
